This relatively short book by Michael Lawrence does a wonderful job of outlining the biblical theology of conversion. The purpose of his book is not to show that conversion makes people kind or gentle, because as we all know, it is very possible to be kind and gentle yet not be converted. Another fallacy that the author deals with is the claim that one can be converted and yet produce no fruit. Lawrence argues that conversion begins with God and will absolutely produce fruit.

Lawrence does a wonderful job of bringing this subject down to the level that every reader can understand. He does not use language that is difficult to understand.

If you have ever wondered how exactly the process of conversion takes place, this book is a great place to start. The author does not depend heavily on his own opinion, rather he relies on Scripture as he makes his argument. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in this subject.
