It can prove a difficult task to find good quality Bible study resources for children. I’ve often picked something up only to find the author misinterpreted or psychologized the passage. It was our desire to find something that would challenge our kids to get into the theology of the Bible, not just hear a story. The Bible study resources by Marty Machowski do just that!

The Gospel Story Bible is written for ages 3-12. This storybook type
Bible introduces your family to many captivating people, places, and events from the Bible's Old and New Testaments, showing how each one ultimately points to Jesus. There are 156 Bible studies and the author concludes each one with three questions to engage your children with the Bible passage.

The Ology is an introduction to systematic theology for kids ages 6-12 but would certainly serve as a good start for anyone, adults included. Through story-telling and illustrations the author takes abstract theological concepts, like God being eternal and His Triune nature, and makes them easier to understand. This is a great resource to help frame your child’s understanding of why we believe what we believe and where it is found in the Bible.
