Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan

For 400 years, Christians have cherished this allegorical work by John Bunyan. The reason this story resonates with so many people is because it gives a wonderful account of the Christian’s journey.

In this book, the main character is a young man named Christian. Christian leaves his home in the City of Destruction and begins his long journey to the Celestial City. Throughout his adventures, he encounters several interesting characters such as Worldy Wiseman and Faithful. He is faced with many difficulties and temptations along the way. During his travels, he enters into the City of Vanity and encounters the Vanity Fair where self-love and pleasure abound.
